One of my homework assignments for my spiritual marketing class was to make a vision board. I had heard of them but never had made one. I wasn’t even sure of the principles behind it. I asked Candy if she had ever made one. She said actually quite a few. Why am I not surprised.
So Jan told me that this vision board was very powerful. She said it would come to particles. Particles? Wow. Definitely the left side of my brain liked this. I was really excited and didn’t really know even how to start. But I looked in my office and all around me…things that gave me joy and things pertaining to Reiki Fur Babies. I found pictures, even titles of books, lots of animals, cards of angels that I never even knew I had…I also put people that were important to me as well as perhaps future people that I might meet one day. Whether it be signifcant or not. I put things like the O Magazine on there because I love Oprah’s magazine. Layer upon layer…I wasn’t even sure how to put them together but it all came together like a puzzle where I didn’t know how the pieces fit but intuitively they all came together. I put some of my favorite sayings on there as well. My favorite numbers. When it was done I would look at it and just grin. I had no idea though how it would work.
Every day I would take a look at a part of it…it’s incredible. It has aligned itself with all of my dreams and visions that have been taking place since the end of January. I had a very powerful dream and wrote about it – Tapestry and the peacock. I had no idea, there were TWO peacocks on my vision board. You say, didn’t you know what you were putting on the board? Well, yes and no. I took things that were around me…I had a picture of a peacock. Get this, I even had brown bears on there. What have I been seeing during our Reiki sessions? Bears. Black ones, brown ones. That same week I was experiencing my vision with the Shaman was the same week I realized there was a unicorn on my vision board. These two animals have HUGE significance to me. I find it actually comical. SO after that I started to look even more closely as what there is on my vision board. It is as if it was me that created yet but not. If that makes any sense at all!
I’m realizing that this vision board is just another extension of myself. And it is coming to particle. The colors, the shapes, the actual pictures are all of significance. My brother told me just making it was also a big part of it. I have had very strong visions since creating this board.
My latest vision was the most powerful ever. I realized she was on my vision board as well. “She” who visited me named Shanti is also an extension. She has a lot of gold around her and on her. I looked on my vision board yesterday and noticed the color gold gleaming from the entire board itself as well as a woman on the board.
All I can say is if you have never made a vision board I would encourage you to try. I would love to hear your experience. Have you ever made a vision board?
